WellChannel

Purpose

The WellChannel software package “Video Surveillance Module” (hereinafter referred to as the Package) is designed to display video in real time and retrospectively.

The Package is used to monitor remote wellsite objects by transmitting video surveillance data from the wellsite to the Customer's management levels via communication channels.

The Package includes two subsystems

wellsite level
office level

Information exchange protocols used

The wellsite level subsystem can receive data from any devices (cameras, video recorders) that support the RTSP video data transmission protocol.

The wellsite level subsystem transmits data to the office level subsystem via the HTTP(S) protocol.

Package capabilities

Saving video on the wellsite server;
Transferring data to the office server in a continuous mode or upon request (saving viewed data);
Additional compression of video transmitted to the office;
Working in systems using DMZ;
Forwarding additional video fragments when transmitting upon request;
Dispatching of video archive in case of communication failures;
Saving video on the office server;
Data buffering (Connecting multiple clients to data transmitted on a single occasion);
Viewing of real-time video by clients on the office server or on the wellsite server;
Viewing of video archive.
