Function

Remote Monitoring for Well Drilling objects by transferring data over communication channels from the wellsite to Customer’s office.

Information system “WellOnline LP” allows an oil and gas company to create its own information resource for well construction. The system provides company management with full and accurate information on drilling processes, work activities, researches and costs. WellOnline LP solves a variety of geological, technological and economic problems, and also allows automating routine of doing reporting documentation by staff.

Information system functionality

At the wellsite, WellOnline LP is installed on a computer connected to the data acquisition system and solves the following tasks:

Data acquisition from GTI/SKPB/MWD/LWD stations.
Data visualization.
Placement of wellsite data in the database.
Transfer of data to the Customer's office in real time and in a package mode.

At the Customer's office, WellOnline LP is installed on the company server and performs the following functions:

Data reception from well sites.
Placement of data received in the office database.
Data visualization in graphical and spreadsheet format.

WellOnline LP works with GTI/MWD/LWD stations of various manufacturers and allows the Customer to use available stations with no necessity to make a choice in favor of any single type of station. System’s focus on working with a wide range of protocols (WITS 0/WITSML/OPC UA/MODBUS and many others) allows user to expand the list of received parameters at his own.

Reliability of WellOnline LP

WellOnline LP ensures the creation of a local database at the wellsite. If communication with the office server is lost, the undelivered data will be transferred after the transfer is resumed.

The WellOnline LP will allow the company to create its own information resource independent of information sources, and ensure full and unconditional ownership of this resource.

Data reception subsystem

WellOnline LP includes a set of modules that allow you to receive data from most GTI stations of Russian manufacturers as well as GTI, MWD, LWD stations, cementing control station, drilling process control station, supporting the provision of data via WITS 0/WITSML/OPC UA/MODBUS protocols.

Subsystem for data transmission and reception

Using the subsystem, data is transferred between well sites and the Customer's office, data is accumulated on the receiving side, and transmission is configured and controlled.
